Who we are…
Colm has been messing around with bicycles for over 40 years. If he is not riding the roads around North Co. Dublin, he is probably coaching kids to ride on Sundrive velodrome.
He has helped hundreds of children and adults to develop their cycling skills and gain the confidence to ride safely on the road.
Tony has been interested in bikes pretty much all his life and all of his work revolves around cycling.
Alongside operating as a Cycle Right trainer, Tony works as a bicycle mechanic for Paracycling Ireland and Cycling Ireland, travelling to races all over the world.
He has also helped many new and aspiring paracyclists attain their goals in the sport, at national and international levels.
Jane is a local mother of some avid cycling kids and a cofounder in the club.
She acts as a child safety officer and enjoys Sunday cycles and running.
Peter came late to cycling by his own admission, involved in setting up Clondalkin Cycling Club, and served on their committee as treasurer for good while. Enjoys racing, audax and cake. And is pretty handy with a cargo bike.
Ruairi has been cycling/racing/falling off since some time in the 80’s. In his teens he toured all the roads of Wicklow and raced all over Ireland.
Painting his first steel bike with a brush & can of light blue paint. He’s learnt a few things since those days, and is still known to race at the drop of a hat…
Now he’s enjoying passing on all he’s learnt over the years to others, while still getting in a bit of racing.
Paddy is a local parent and founding club member who saw the gap in kids cycling in the Dublin Bay Area.
His son loved cycling but there was no club for him to join. Now he’s found a community of children his own age and is learning new skills in the club.
